Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Salesman with strong market knowledge in pet food products (cat & dog). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the pet food market.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, retailers, and distributors.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity and customer demand.
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability in retail outlets.
- Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Promote company products and educate customers about product benefits.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in pet food or FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of the local market and distribution channels.
- Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Minimum Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
