General Salesman – Pet Food

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Salesman with strong market knowledge in pet food products (cat & dog). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the pet food market.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, retailers, and distributors.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity and customer demand.
  • Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability in retail outlets.
  • Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Promote company products and educate customers about product benefits.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in pet food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and distribution channels.
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Minimum Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driving license (preferred).
