Position Summary:

ABM Industries is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented General Superintendent to oversee electrical tool installation activities at the TSMC Phoenix Semiconductor Plant. This role is responsible for managing field operations, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring the successful execution of electrical installations in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and supervise all field operations related to electrical tool install activities.
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and TSMC representatives to ensure alignment on scope and schedule.
    • Manage subcontractors and ABM field personnel to ensure quality and safety compliance.
    • Oversee installation of electrical systems for semiconductor tools, including power distribution, controls, and grounding.
    • Ensure adherence to TSMC’s cleanroom and high-tech facility standards.
    • Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, issues, and resolutions.
    • Support commissioning and turnover processes for electrical systems.
    • Resolve field-level conflicts and escalate critical issues as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
    • Extensive experience in tool install projects within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cleanroom protocols, and construction sequencing.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • OSHA 30 certification required.
    • Proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
Preferred Experience:
    • Experience working on TSMC projects or similar semiconductor clients.
    • Familiarity with tool install protocols and commissioning procedures.
