ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Department of Surgery, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a General Surgeon with advanced training and expertise in Hernia and Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction to join the Division of General and Specialty Surgery. Fixed term or tenure track faculty position is available.
The Department of Surgery has a general surgery residency program with six categorical residents in each year who are competitively prepared for fellowships, academic positions, and direct entry into private practice. The Brody School of Medicine matriculates 92 students each year and is approved for class size expansion to 120 students per year upon completion of the new medical education building in August 2027.
