General Technician

Job description

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced General Technician to join our maintenance team. The role requires carrying out day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works across our holiday home units to ensure all apartments remain in excellent condition for our guests. The technician will be responsible for minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC/AC, carpentry, appliances, and general upkeep, while ensuring quick response times and high-quality work. This position is ideal for someone proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across all holiday home units.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues in plumbing, electrical systems, AC units, appliances, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and the operations team.
• Ensure apartments are always maintained to company and DTCM standards.
• Keep records of completed work, repair schedules, and used materials.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized tasks when required.
• Support the operations team during guest check-ins, check-outs, and property handovers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a general technician / maintenance technician, preferably in hospitality, holiday homes, or hotel operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, AC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to operate tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Basic communication skills in English is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
