Job Description – Offshore General Technician

Position Title: Offshore General Technician (Generators and Compressors on offshore platforms.)
Project Duration: 4 Months (Extendable) –
Project Location: Ras Laffan Offshore Platform
Salary Offer: Based on candidate’s capability and experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain Generators and Compressors on offshore platforms.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment reliability and operational safety.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of assigned machinery.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of daily operations.
• Support emergency response operations related to power generation and compressed air systems.
• Follow safety standards, company policies, and offshore regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining Generators and Compressors (offshore experience is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of offshore safety practices and operational procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills and adaptability in challenging offshore conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Experience:
