General Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a General Technician at Double Tree by Hilton Port Saeed. The General Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, addressing technical issues, and ensuring all equipment and systems in the hotel are functioning optimally. Duties include troubleshooting, repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as liaising with other departments to provide consistent support for operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Has an advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques with strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• In-depth knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, plumbing pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, etc.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role with a good understanding of English, both written and oral.
• A certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is preferred
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and adheres to the hotel's Standard Operating Procedures.
