Key Responsibilities1. General Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across the resort, including guest rooms, villas, landscaping equipment, back-of-house areas, and public spaces.
- Handle repairs related to electrical fixtures, plumbing issues, HVAC systems, carpentry, and basic civil work.
2. Preventive Maintenance
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance for rooms, equipment, and utility systems.
- Maintain proper records and report major issues to the supervisor.
3. Resort Facility Upkeep
- Inspect water pumps, swimming pool equipment, garden lighting, pathway fixtures, and other outdoor utilities.
- Support maintenance of recreation facilities, spa equipment, and restaurant utilities.
4. Tools & Equipment Handling
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools, machinery, and materials.
- Report the requirement of spare parts in advance.
5. Guest Support
- Attend guest complaints promptly and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Ensure privacy, courtesy, and safety while entering guest areas.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all resort safety guidelines and maintenance SOPs.
- Report hazards, equipment failures, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Support emergency response operations such as power outages, leaks, and breakdowns.
7. Team Coordination
- Work closely with engineering team members and other departments to support smooth resort operations.
- Participate in shift duties, emergency calls, and special projects as required.
