General Worker – Retread, Warehouse, or Driver

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Retread Operations
Assist with tire retread production processes including inspection, buffing, repair, curing, and finishing.
Load, unload, stack, and move tires throughout the facility.
Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with company safety procedures.
Inspect tires and materials for quality and report defects or safety concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and production equipment.
Follow all operational, environmental, and safety procedures within the retread plant.
Warehouse Responsibilities
Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
Receive, stock, organize, and distribute inventory and materials.
Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
Prepare orders, shipments, and materials for delivery or transfer.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Driver Responsibilities
Deliver and pick up tires, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Complete required delivery documentation and inspection reports.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns immediately.
Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company driving policies, and safety requirements.
Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Safety & Compliance Expectations
Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a safe work environment and immediately report unsafe conditions.
Comply with DOT requirements and company vehicle policies when operating company vehicles.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with company expectations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, tire service, or delivery operations preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license required.
CDL may be required depending on assigned duties and location.
Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and tires regularly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Basic communication and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and schedules.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, twisting, and climbing.
Ability to lift and move tires and materials weighing up to 75 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
Ability to safely operate company equipment and vehicles.
Work Environment

This position operates in warehouse, retread plant, yard, and delivery environments that may include exposure to moving machinery, vehicle traffic, varying weather conditions, loud noise levels, dust, and industrial equipment.
