Principal AI Developer: Generative Models (Full-time, Lahore)

We are seeking a highly specialized and experienced Principal AI Developer to dedicate their expertise entirely to Generative AI. This critical, full-time, on-site role mandates 3–5 years of focused experience in AI development, specifically with a proven track record of successfully building models capable of generating novel content and strategic solutions.

As the core contributor, you will own the end-to-end process—designing, developing, rigorously optimizing, and deploying advanced generative models directly into our core products to deliver exceptional user value and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Generative AI Model Architecture & Research
• Core Development: Architect, develop, and meticulously optimize advanced generative AI solutions, specializing in models for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Image/Media Generation.
• Algorithm Mastery: Implement and refine sophisticated generative algorithms, leveraging techniques such as GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer), VAE (Variational Autoencoders), and GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks).
• Innovation Pipeline: Maintain our competitive edge by conducting continuous, in-depth research into the latest breakthroughs in deep learning and generative AI, identifying strategic integration opportunities.
• Production Implementation & Performance Engineering
• Framework Expertise: Build robust, scalable algorithms using industry-leading frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and OpenAI libraries.
• Validation & Iteration: Rigorously test and empirically validate model performance, iteratively refining models for production-grade efficiency, speed, and reliability.
• Solution Translation: Partner closely with product managers to translate complex strategic business needs into scalable, efficient, and reliable technical solutions.
• Engineering Excellence and Collaboration
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate extensively with cross-functional engineering teams to define comprehensive AI project requirements, ensuring technical execution aligns perfectly with overarching business strategy.
• Best Practices: Actively drive excellence through participation in code reviews, establishing high engineering standards for AI development, and maintaining precise technical documentation.
• Ethical AI: Remain current with ethical considerations in AI, proactively implementing strategies for bias mitigation and responsible model governance.

Required Expertise and Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of progressive AI development experience, with a deep, focused background specifically in generative models.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related technical field.

Core Technical Skills

• Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python.
• Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with production implementation using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and OpenAI libraries.
• Model Expertise: Proven experience developing, training, and implementing GPT, VAE, and GANs architectures.
• Deployment & MLOps: Practical experience leveraging Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage and deploy AI models into production environments, coupled with strong version control (Git) familiarity.
