Generl Carpenter (basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform minor carpentry repairs, including fixing doors, locks, handles, hinges, and wooden partitions.
• Carry out tile repairs, minor crack fixing, floor and plaster patchwork.
• Basic knowledge in shuttering, formwork, and scaffolding erection/dismantling.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs in residential villas, including:
• Fixing leaking taps, pipes, and joints
• Replacing washers, valves, and plumbing fixtures (e.g. hand sprays, mixers, shower mixers)
• Repairing/replacing water pumps and water tanks
• Clearing drain blockages and ensuring proper water flow
• Execute basic electrical tasks, such as:
• Replacing light fixtures
• Installing/fixing switches and sockets
• Pulling and testing electrical cables
• Performing DB panel checks
• Perform basic welding works when required.
• Undertake masonry tasks, such as:
• Block laying
• Plastering
• Surface chipping and repair
• Assist in gypsum work including:
• Channel fixing
• Gypsum board installation
• Carry out painting tasks, including:
• Paint mixing and surface preparation
• General painting maintenance
• Wall polishing, patching, and touch-ups

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in general maintenance and repair.
• Age between 27–35 years.
• Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of welding, masonry, gypsum, and painting techniques.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
