  • Review the preliminary geotechnical investigation and factual reports provided by the owner, external consultants or contractors or other parties during the bidding stage and propose corresponding technical clarifications. Review geotechnical aspects of tender documents, specifications, and design drawings.
  • Analyze subsurface investigation data (borehole logs, laboratory test results, in-situ test data) and prepare geotechnical design parameters.
  • Provide technical recommendations for foundation types, ground improvement methods, slope stability, erosion control and earthworks.
  • Review the basis of the earthwork quantities provided by the design institute or earthwork subcontractor, as well as the selection of soil improvement methods (such as concrete piles, PHC piles, vibro-compaction, stone columns, dynamic compaction, grouting, soil replacement, etc.)
  • Develop geotechnical design basis/ technical specifications, topographic survey technical specification, soil improvement technical specification, piling works & pile Test program technical specifications and contribute to design reports for various project phases (FEED, Detailed Design, EPC).
  • Perform calculations for Safe Bearing Capacity (SBC), pile capacity, settlement, and lateral load capacity based on site conditions.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical consultants, design teams, and construction teams to ensure geotechnical recommendations are implemented correctly.
  • Participate in on-site guidance for geotechnical and topographic surveys, piling works and soil improvement etc.
  • Take the lead in completing the control BOQ work, Support value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-effective Earthwork and technically sound ground improvement or foundation solutions.
