Overview

We are hiring a GIS Instructor to deliver practical, industry-focused training under the NAVTTC program. The instructor will teach core GIS concepts and tools while mentoring students to develop job-ready geospatial skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured GIS training aligned with NAVTTC curriculum.
• Teach spatial data concepts, mapping, and geospatial analysis.
• Provide hands-on training using ArcGIS and/or QGIS.
• Create practical assignments and projects.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback.
• Guide students on real-world GIS applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS/QGIS.
• Teaching or training experience preferred.
• Clear communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student learning and employability.
