We're Hiring: Geography Teacher – Cambridge Middle School
Location: Sanjay Ghodawat International School, Belagavi, Karnataka
Curriculum: Cambridge Lower Secondary / IGCSE (Grades 6–8)

Sanjay Ghodawat International School, Belagavi, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our Middle School faculty. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Cambridge (IGCSE/Lower Secondary) curriculum and a passion for making geography engaging, relevant, and inquiry-driven for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography to Middle School students (Cambridge Lower Secondary / Pre-IGCSE)
• Develop lesson plans and activities aligned with the Cambridge curriculum framework
• Use a variety of teaching methods to build geographical skills and global awareness
• Encourage critical thinking and curiosity about environmental and global issues
• Prepare students for progression to IGCSE Geography
• Participate in school events, field trips, and interdisciplinary learning projects

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography or Education
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge International school
• Familiarity with Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE curriculum standards
• Strong classroom management, communication, and digital teaching skills
• Passion for experiential and inquiry-based learning
