Job Description:

We have 1 Openings for Geologist, one at our Head/Corporate Office, Prabhadevi, Mumbai, please refer the detailed requirement & JD as discussed.

Qualification: Degree in Geology or Geoscience or in a related field.

Experience:1 or 3 years

A geologist studies the composition, structure, and other physical attributes of the earth, including rocks and minerals.
They use physics, mathematics, and geological knowledge in exploration for oil, gas, minerals, or underground water.

Responsibilities:

• Liasoning with Government Officials.
• Gather and analyze geological data.
• Examine the composition of samples and specimens.
• Coordinate research programs and write reports on findings.
• Investigate and evaluate natural resource deposits (e.g. oil).
• Survey sites and create logs (e.g. borehole) and maps using GIS.
• Study sites for developments, formations, hazards, and composition.
• Preparing Lease Paper with Statutary and Regulatory complied with Government rules.
• Plan geology projects (e.g. oil extraction, water pipe construction) and field sampling events.
• Measure and test fossils, rocks, soil, ores and other material with the proper instruments (e.g. X-rays).
• Ensure environmental and other regulations are met in construction and production projects (e.g. oil wells).
• Conduct quality control on the suitability of material (e.g. metals for construction purposes) and inspect projects.
• Consult on various geology-related issues like waste management, resource management, gas extraction techniques and more.

Requirement and Skills:

• Proven experience as a geologist.
• Organizational and teamwork ability.
• An analytical mind and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations.
• Great communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to handle and analyze data and 3D models.
• Good knowledge of the attributes of ores, soil, minerals and other materials.
• Experience with various geological techniques like mining, boring and numerical modeling.
