Borehole Seismic Surveyor

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, engineering geology, or an equivalent field.
• At least 10 years’ experience in witnessing all types of borehole seismic survey investigations including QAQC roles and technical work.
• Understand Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessel operations and limitations.
• Proven field experience in offshore geophysical data acquisition and QC experience, preferably in the Middle East and / or Qatar.
• Ability to perform production logging and reporting including acquisition logs, downtime, system faults, and resolution tracking; HSE observations and TBTs.
• Good knowledge of specialized seismic processing and interpretation software.
• Have carbonate reservoir VSP/seismic data acquisition and QC experience (onshore and offshore)
• Data acquisition QA/QC to assess first arrivals, signal-to-noise ratio, coupling of geophones to borehole wall, depth accuracy of receivers, source delay, far-field signature checks; evaluate adherence to source-receiver geometry, offset distances, and source repeatability
