Bachelor's degree in geosciences or engineering or an equivalent field.
At least 10 years’ experience in geophysical (analogue and digital) acquisition and supervision.
Understand Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessel operations and limitations.
Proven field experience in offshore geophysical data acquisition and QC experience, preferably in the Middle East and / or Qatar.
Ability to perform production logging and reporting including acquisition logs, downtime, system faults, and resolution tracking; HSE observations and TBTs.
Possess excellent leadership, English communication skills (written / oral).Strong communication and coordination skills (on work site and with shore-based teams).
Be capable of working in a multicultural environment.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office software suite.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of analogue geophysical survey operations tools, and limitations including Single Beam Echosounders (SBES), Multibeam Echo Sounders (MBES), Side Scan Sonars (SSS), Sub-bottom Profilers (SBP), Marine Magnetometers.
Have extensive QC experience with industry-standard acquisition equipment, software, e.g. QINSy, SonarWiz, Hypack, Fledermaus, field processing techniques and calibrations.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of digital (2D) geophysical survey operations tools, and limitations, including medium- / high-frequency airguns, sparker, boomer, chirps, multichannel streamers.
Familiarity with high-precision GNSS, USBL, INS systems and experience verifying patch tests, layback configurations, offsets, and line planning QA.
Be able to review acquisition parameters and perform qualitative/quantitative analysis of existing seismic data, providing recommendations for future acquisition parameters.
