Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Relevant experience in mechanized mining activities. Exposure to drilling, geological mapping, sampling, and mine-grade control operations are essential.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of geological processes and resource modelling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid Pakistan Driving Licence and Pit Driving Permit (or willingness to obtain).
- Proven commitment to safety and ability to demonstrate visible safety leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise geological mapping, drilling, logging, and sampling activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely geological data collection and analysis.
- Monitor and maintain QA/QC protocols for all geological processes.
- Design ore and waste grade blocks to support mining operations.
- Support production planning and site reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to integrate geological knowledge into operations.
- Represent the MRM department in planning meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to a Zero Harm safety culture.
