We are currently seeking a Geophysicist with proven, hands-on experience in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data acquisition and advanced data processing. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional passionate about subsurface exploration and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct GPR surveys across diverse environments, including urban, industrial, and natural sites.
- Process and interpret GPR data using advanced software and techniques.
- Support multidisciplinary projects involving utility detection, archaeological investigations, structural integrity assessments, and environmental studies.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, archaeologists, surveyors, and environmental scientists to develop accurate subsurface models.
- Prepare technical reports and visualizations for clients and project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated field experience with GPR equipment and methodologies.
- Proficiency in GPR data processing software (e.g., GPR-SLICE, RADAN, ReflexW, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork in a variety of conditions.
Preferred:
- Experience in other near-surface geophysical methods (e.g., ERT, magnetometry, seismic).
- Familiarity with GIS tools and CAD for mapping and reporting.
- Background in utilities, environmental consulting, construction, or archaeology is a plus.
