GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and leading the recruitment team to ensure timely and effective hiring. Develops and implements recruitment strategies, monitors performance metrics, and ensures compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Additionally, this position serves as a key driver in creating solutions and new approaches for talent planning and acquisition, aiming to secure qualified candidates in the shortest possible time while supporting organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Conduct regular meetings with recruitment staff in charge, performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates. Adjust strategies based on data and market trends.

  • Responsible for generating and analyzing reports on recruitment activities, pipeline status, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and other KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide effective recruitment support. Act as the escalation point for recruitment issues.

  • Responsible for adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, Affirmative Action Plan requirements, and internal policies. Maintain accurate documentation for all recruitment processes.

  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies and vendors. Oversee billing and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives, such as the employee referral program and job fair participation, to build candidate pipelines.

  • Evaluate systems, workflows, and procedures to implement improvements approved by leadership.

  • Interview and select management-level candidates as needed, extending offers in compliance with HR policies.
  • Supervises, monitors, trains, evaluates, and corrects personnel, among others to comply with his/her role as a supervisor, to ensure that his/her personnel fulfill their work plan and comply with their essential functions, and that they behave following the policies, standards, norms, and procedures of the Company.
  • Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws, as well as with the regulations applicable to our Industry, to maintain appropriate business and employment practices.
  • May carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least five (5) years of experience in recruitment, which includes at least two (2) years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is required.

Other: Specialized knowledge of regulations of affirmative action plans, principles of equal employment opportunities, and labor laws applicable to the processes of qualification, recruitment, and selection of personnel. Some travel may be required for job fairs, campus recruitment, and other events.
