G.F.R.C Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for GFRC materials such as cement, aggregates, chemicals, molds, reinforcements, fibres, and related consumables.
• Request, review, and compare quotations to ensure best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production/warehouse to maintain optimal stock.
• Track deliveries to ensure timely arrival and follow up on delays or discrepancies.
• Conduct market research to identify new materials, technologies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, supplier performance, and price history.
• Coordinate with project, production, and finance teams to understand material requirements and budget constraints.
• Ensure all purchased materials meet approved quality standards and technical specifications.
• Resolve supplier issues regarding quality, shortage, or invoicing discrepancies.
• Support cost control initiatives and contribute to procurement process improvements.
