Job Description
Serve gifted students assigned to your caseload/school. Develop lessons for identified gifted students, case manage theses students, and track their progress in general education classes. Provide information to parents, attend IEP meetings, and maintain all required paperwork in a timely fashion. Complete any additional activities or responsibilities regarding this group as assigned by the superintendent or director of special education.

Qualifications
Teaching certification requried.
Gifted certification required or eligible for a permit. Clay County Schools will reimburse fee for passing score on the ifted Praxis Exam.
Teaching assignment at the assigned school preferred.

Terms of Employment
Average 45 minutes per week minimum contract time required.
2025-2026 School Year

Compensation
Extracurricular Contract - $900.00, plus increment based on caseload.
