    Qualifications:
    • WV Professional Teaching Certificate
    • Certified to teach: Gifted; Grades 1st - 12th
    • Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
    • The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
    • Additional Minimum Requirements:
      • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
      • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
      • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
      • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.
    Start date: Remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year
    This is a half (1/2) time position which requires working one half (1/2) day each employment day following Hardy County schedule.
    Salary: Based on the 2025-2026 salary scale - commensurate with experience and education.
