Gilbert, Arizona Family Seeking Live-In Nanny (ASAP Start)

Job Summary
We are a busy, loving family in Gilbert, AZ seeking a live-in nanny who brings warmth, experience, and calm, supportive energy into our home.

We are not just looking for childcare, we are looking for someone who feels like an Abuela at heart.

About Our Family

• One toddler (1.5 years old) – active, curious, and in a strong toddler phase
• Two working parents with demanding, non-traditional schedules
• Warm, family-oriented home that values communication, reliability, and teamwork

The Role

This is a live-in position for someone who naturally takes care of both a child and a home.

Responsibilities include:

• Full care of our toddler (engaging, teaching, playing, keeping him safe)
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Supporting nap routines
• Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying, resetting spaces)
• Helping keep the home organized and running smoothly

This role is hands-on and requires experience with a toddler.

Schedule

• Full-time (30–40 hours per week)
• Some flexibility required due to parents’ work schedules
• Thursdays are required
• Two weekends per month required (with weekdays off provided)
• Some days may start as early as 5:00 AM

You are:

• Experienced with young children (toddler experience required)
• Naturally nurturing, patient, and calm—you handle toddler emotions with ease
• Highly reliable and punctual—this is extremely important in our home
• Emotionally grounded and steady—you bring a sense of calm, not chaos
• Clean and organized—you take pride in maintaining a well-run home
• Proactive—you don’t wait to be told what to do, you just step in and help
• Present and engaged—you are hands-on, attentive, and safety-focused at all times

We would love someone more experienced and mature, with that natural “Abuela energy” Confident, dependable, and a second set of hands in our home. We are a team here. We support each other, communicate openly, and show up for one another. I’m looking for someone I can trust and partner with day to day. Spanish-speaking is a plus (Dad is fluent), but not required
