Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our team. The GIS Analyst will play a key role in processing, analyzing, and managing geospatial data collected through drone surveys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS software, data visualization, and spatial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze geospatial data from drone surveys, including orthophotos, DSM, DTM, and point clouds.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform spatial analyses to extract meaningful insights and create high-quality maps, models, and reports.
• Collaborate with drone pilots and clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized GIS solutions.
• Assist in feature extraction (e.g., roads, buildings, water bodies) using AI/ML techniques.
• Utilize GIS tools to support decision-making in agriculture, infrastructure, and environmental projects.
• Generate detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Stay updated on GIS and drone technology trends to improve workflows and tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
• Experience with remote sensing and photogrammetry software like Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of spatial data formats and geodatabases.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages for geospatial analysis is a plus.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts for geospatial applications is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on drone-based GIS projects.
• Knowledge of agricultural mapping, infrastructure monitoring, or environmental studies.
• Understanding of metadata standards and data-sharing protocols.
• Experience in automating GIS workflows.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
