GIS CAD Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update GIS maps, drawings, and spatial data for road and infrastructure works
  • Develop and maintain CAD drawings related to alignments, utilities, and right-of-way
  • Support PMC team with GIS analysis, mapping, and visual data for reports and presentations
  • Integrate survey, utility, and as-built data into GIS and CAD platforms
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of spatial and drawing data as per project standards
  • Coordinate with design, planning, and site teams to collect and verify data
  • Assist in progress monitoring using GIS-based maps and dashboards
  • Maintain organized GIS and CAD databases, files, and documentation
  • Support client and stakeholder requirements related to mapping and spatial information
  • Review GIS and CAD submissions from contractors and consultants
  • Update base maps with latest site, survey, and utility information
  • Prepare thematic maps for construction progress, traffic diversions, and utilities
  • Support preparation of as-built drawings and final GIS deliverables
  • Ensure GIS and CAD outputs comply with PMC, client, and project standards
  • Assist in resolving spatial data or drawing-related issues raised by site teams
  • Provide technical support during coordination meetings when required
  • Track and manage revisions, versions, and approvals of drawings and GIS files
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of project information

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field
  • Proven experience on infrastructure and road projects, preferably PMC or consultancy
  • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS or similar) and AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of road alignments, utilities, and infrastructure drawings
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced project environment
