The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking a Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst I. This position is within our Technical Services Bureau. The successful incumbent will be stationed at our Headquarters office situated adjacent to the Boise Greenbelt, the MK Nature Center, and Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park in Boise.Why IDFG? Minimum Qualifications: (All qualifications listed below are required. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and motivated early-career GIS professional with a strong foundation in geographic information systems with a background in and passion for biological and environmental science. They should possess a working knowledge of GIS software (particularly the ESRI suite) and relational databases plus experience performing GIS data management. Strong communication and collaboration skills will enable them to work effectively with their internal and external stakeholders. This candidate should be committed to continuous improvement, receptive to feedback, and able to follow data standards and procedures aligned with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles. Additional consideration may be given at the time of interview to candidates who have this training and/or experience.
