Job Title: GIS Analyst – Project Lead
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Note:

• Must be a current South Carolina resident

• No relocation permitted

Responsibilities

• Create digital and hard-copy maps using advanced GIS and mapping tools

• Perform GIS data collection, maintenance, and spatial analysis

• Update database tables to reflect GIS feature changes

• Conduct quality control to ensure spatial accuracy and data integrity

• Assist in developing and maintaining procedure and technical documentation

• Perform software and process research, testing, and evaluation

• Complete additional GIS-related tasks as assigned

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, GIS, Physical Science, or related field

Required Skills (Ranked)

• 3+ years of experience with GIS/mapping applications

• 3+ years of experience with spatial databases

• 3+ years of cartographic experience

• 1+ year of experience with database design

Preferred Skills (Ranked)

• Experience with ArcGIS Pro

• Experience with SQL databases

• Experience with ArcGIS Roads & Highways Extension
