GIS SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Management
• Collect and process spatial data from surveys, GPS, satellite imagery, and other sources.
• Maintain GIS databases and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Mapping & Visualization
• Create maps, layouts, and spatial visualizations using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Produce reports, charts, and dashboards for project teams and stakeholders.
• Spatial Analysis
• Conduct geospatial analysis such as buffering, overlay, network analysis, and terrain modeling.
• Support engineering and planning teams with spatial insights and recommendations.
• Integration & Collaboration
• Work with CAD, Civil 3D, BIM, and other design software for project integration.
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, planners, and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure all mapping and data practices meet organizational and regulatory standards.
• Document workflows, metadata, and project deliverables.
