Our client is an international organisation with operations across multiple regions, currently undergoing a finance systems transformation. Responsibilities
- Support finance activities related to the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Participate in data cleansing and validation work prior to system migration.
- Assist with reconciling legacy ledger balances, ensuring all opening balances and open items are correctly identified ahead of migration.
- Contribute to mapping existing accounts and transactions to the updated chart of accounts.
- Support the incorporation and alignment of financial dimensions within existing datasets.
- Validate migrated data and perform post migration reconciliations to ensure ledger integrity.
- Assist with user testing for finance related processes and workflows within the new ERP system.
- Document finance processes, testing outcomes, and workflows as part of the implementation programme.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks including reconciliations, reviews, and ledger clean up as required.
- Provide day to day support to the Finance Core Team throughout the transformation period.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5+ years of General Ledger accounting experience.
- Strong background in account reconciliations and ledger analysis.
- Experience in ERP implementation or system migration is essential.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Candidates do not need prior UAE experience but must be currently based in the UAE and immediately available.
