Glasswash Technician – Cambridge, MA (Contract)
Location: Cambridge, MA 02139
Duration: 10/06/2025 – 02/28/2026 (Temp contract with possible conversion)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.50/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Glasswash Technician to support laboratory operations at a leading life sciences site in Cambridge, MA. This is a full-time, onsite contract position with the potential for conversion based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate glassware processing equipment, including autoclaves.
• Collect dirty glassware from laboratories and distribute clean, sterile glassware.
• Maintain inventory of glassware and cleaning supplies; order and replace items as needed.
• Prepare solutions used in glassware processing.
• Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in safety activities and ensure adherence to lab safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to read, write, and understand technical information.

Work Environment:

• Primarily onsite, walking, standing, bending, and lifting required.
• Office, stockroom, and lab environments with normal temperature and lighting.
• Must follow all safety and security protocols.
