Finance and Tax Manager

As Finance and Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial management and tax compliance functions. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective tax planning, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial analysis to support business objectives. The position combines hands-on financial oversight with proactive tax strategy and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Review financial statements and conduct variance analysis
    • Ensure strong internal control and financial governance
  • Tax Compliance & Planning
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations
    • Manage preparation for federal, state, and local tax returns
    • Oversee income tax, franchise tax, sales/use tax, and other applicable taxes
    • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
  • Cash Flow & Treasury
    • Monitor cash flow and working capital
    • Support financing arrangements and decisions
  • Leadership
    • Supervise finance and accounting staff
    • Develop policies and procedures for financial and tax operations
  • Ad hoc assignments from management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • 5+ years’ experience in finance or tax or
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
  • Professional team player and good communication skills
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI experience preferred
  • CPA & ERP experience preferred
  • Bilingual required – Mandarin/English
