What You'll Do

As the Global Email Marketing Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of email marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and nurture BCG’s global audiences. You will collaborate closely with digital marketing leads and cross-functional partners to assist with campaign planning, scheduling, testing, and reporting.

This entry-level role is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their full-time digital marketing career who is interested in marketing technology, campaign operations, and data-driven decision making. You will build foundational skills in marketing automation, content operations, and performance analytics, while contributing directly to BCG’s broader digital marketing strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Support

  • Assist with setup, QA, scheduling, and deployment of global email campaigns using Marketing Cloud or Marketo.
  • Coordinate with content, design, and digital teams to ensure assets are accurate, high quality, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Help maintain campaign calendars, distribution lists, and review workflows to ensure timely approvals and alignment.

Quality & Testing

  • Perform QA testing across devices, browsers, and email clients to ensure flawless rendering and responsiveness.
  • Support A/B tests—including subject lines, CTAs, layouts, and send times—to strengthen engagement and optimize email performance.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and communicate basic campaign performance metrics (open rate, CTR, bounces, unsubscribes, etc.).
  • Contribute to campaign summaries by identifying and communicating notable trends and insights for future optimization.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Support alignment with global stakeholders by coordinating deployment details and reviewing campaign readiness.
  • Participate in team meetings, capture action items, and help maintain operational documentation and process updates.

What You'll Bring

  • 1-3 years' experience in digital marketing, with a strong foundation in analytics and email marketing (ideally in B2B/professional services).
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business intelligence, or a related quantitative/analytical field.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and an interest in developing deeper expertise in marketing automation technology.
  • Basic understanding of core email marketing concepts such as deliverability, personalization, audience segmentation, and nurture workflows.
  • Exposure to or experience supporting email marketing campaigns aligned to business goals (e.g., engagement, conversion, or lead nurturing).
  • Understanding Agile ways of working and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical and product partners.
  • Proficiency in Excel and interest in learning analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics) to interpret trends and summarize performance insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively under shifting deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented, and intellectually curious environment; openness to new ideas, feedback, and diverse perspectives.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and positive working style, with a willingness to take initiative and support team needs as they arise.
  • Sound judgment and resourcefulness when navigating challenges, with an eagerness to learn and problem-solve.
