What You'll Do
As the Global Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in the coordination and execution of global email marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and nurture BCG’s global audiences. You will collaborate closely with digital marketing leads and cross-functional partners to assist with campaign planning, scheduling, testing, and reporting.
This early-career specialist role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in digital marketing who is looking to deepen their expertise in marketing automation, campaign operations, and performance analysis. You will build foundational skills in marketing automation, content operations, and performance analytics, while contributing directly to BCG’s broader digital marketing strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities
Campaign Support
- Independently execute email setup, QA, and scheduling for global campaigns, with guidance as needed.
- Coordinate with content, design, and digital teams to ensure assets are accurate, high quality, and aligned with brand standards.
- Help maintain campaign calendars, distribution lists, and review workflows to ensure timely approvals and alignment.
Quality & Testing
- Perform QA testing across devices, browsers, and email clients to ensure flawless rendering and responsiveness.
- Contribute to A/B test design and analysis—including subject lines, CTAs, layouts, and send times—to strengthen engagement and optimize email performance.
Reporting & Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance (open rate, CTR, bounces, unsubscribes, etc.) and provide actionable insights to inform optimization.
- Contribute to campaign summaries by identifying and communicating notable trends and insights for future optimization.
Collaboration & Communication
- Support alignment with global stakeholders by coordinating deployment details and reviewing campaign readiness.
- Actively contribute to team meetings, share learnings, and maintain documentation to enhance team operations.
What You'll Bring
- 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing with hands-on exposure to email marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage campaign components and apply performance data to guide decisions.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with growing confidence in navigating cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business intelligence, or a related quantitative/analytical field.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and an interest in developing deeper expertise in marketing automation technology.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage tasks within email campaign workflows, including asset QA, stakeholder coordination, and scheduling.
- Exposure to or experience supporting email marketing campaigns aligned to business goals (e.g., engagement, conversion, or lead nurturing).
- Understanding Agile ways of working and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical and product partners.
- Proactively seeks to deepen marketing automation expertise through on-the-job learning and training resources (e.g., LAB, Navigator, etc.).
- Proficiency in Excel and interest in learning analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics) to interpret
trends and summarize performance insights.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively under shifting deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented, and intellectually curious environment; openness to new ideas, feedback, and diverse perspectives.
- A collaborative, proactive, and positive working style, with a willingness to take initiative and support team needs as they arise.
- Sound judgment and resourcefulness when navigating challenges, with an eagerness to learn and problem-solve.
