Autocam Medical is seeking a Global Key Account Manager to develop and execute AMD’s growth strategy with our key customers. The Global Key Account Manager is responsible for reinforcing a solid and trusting relationship between these key customers and AMD. The Global Key Account Manager will lead business development activity, serving as the lead point of contact related to all aspects of the relationship including customer satisfaction. The Global Key Account Manager will also drive awareness of our customers’ business structure and develop strategies to ensure AMD is focused on growth in new programs, as well as market share gains from existing relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships across all levels of the customer organization to ensure alignment with their business objectives and satisfaction with Autocam Medical’s solutions.
  • Drive profitable sales growth through targeted strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, and account penetration.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and align Autocam Medical’s products, technologies, and services to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional global teams, integrating sales, engineering, and operations efforts to deliver consistent customer value.
  • Cultivate opportunities within key accounts, maintaining a robust CRM pipeline from R&D through production to support sustainable growth.
  • Direct customer engagement activities, ensuring both business development and long-term account maintenance objectives are met.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional communication, responsiveness, and service quality.
  • Balance advocacy for the customer with internal operational priorities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Oversee complex, multi-region negotiations, including contract management, pricing, and long-term agreements.
  • Lead customer meetings and communications with professionalism and clarity, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and present regular account reports detailing progress toward strategic goals, key metrics, and upcoming initiatives to internal stakeholders, including plant leadership and executive management.
  • Create and maintain accurate forecasts and strategic account plans with measurable quarterly and annual objectives supporting customer and company growth targets.
  • Partner with Market Intelligence and Business Development teams to analyze customer industries, trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Operate autonomously and decisively, escalating critical issues when appropriate and leveraging enterprise resources effectively.
  • Represent Autocam Medical at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance visibility and develop new business opportunities.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives, including research into customer market strategies, supply chain structures, and product development activities.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational and customer objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (50%)

  • Proficient with Office suite products
  • Competent with a CRM, preferably Dynamics
  • The ability to handle complex issues in a professional and calm manner
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to follow-through on customer contracts
  • Comfortable providing regular business updates to the Executive Management team
  • Proven results of delivering customer solutions and meeting sales goals

Education and Work Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, sales, or relevant field is required.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
  • 4+ years of previous work experience in sales, management, or strategic account management
