About the Role

The Global Logistics & Category Manager sits at the intersection of supply chain, procurement, and venue operations, ensuring every Topgolf venue is equipped with the right non-food products—delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and consistently.

This role leads global inbound and outbound logistics across distribution centers, suppliers, and venues while also owning category strategy for Furniture, Lighting, and Venue Supplies. You’ll partner closely with Operations, Construction, Design, and Supply Chain teams to translate business needs into scalable logistics and sourcing solutions that support growth and elevate the Player experience.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, operationally strong, and comfortable navigating both strategic sourcing and hands-on logistics execution in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities
Global Logistics & Transportation
  • Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics across global suppliers, distribution centers, and venues
  • Coordinate distribution strategy across DCs, 3PLs, and direct-ship suppliers
  • Optimize freight modes (LTL, TL, small parcel, intermodal) to balance cost, speed, and service
  • Ensure strong on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance across all locations
  • Partner with warehouse, supplier, and transportation teams to ensure seamless execution
Freight Optimization & Carrier Management
  • Lead transportation RFPs and carrier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, capacity, and service levels
  • Monitor and manage freight costs, delivery timelines, and service level agreements
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and inbound logistics guidelines for consistent execution
  • Oversee invoicing accuracy and freight audit processes
International Logistics & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, documentation, and customs requirements
  • Maintain accurate logistics data in ERP systems (HTS codes, weights, dimensions, etc.)
  • Manage global shipping flows including U.S. domestic and foreign-to-foreign movements
Category Management (Furniture, Lighting & Venue Supplies)
  • Own category sourcing strategy for Furniture, Lighting, and Venue Supplies
  • Lead RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract execution
  • Manage supplier performance, pricing, and innovation initiatives
  • Drive cost savings, value engineering, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
  • Partner with Venue Operations, Construction, Design, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align procurement and logistics strategies
  • Translate operational and project needs into scalable sourcing and logistics solutions
  • Support new venue openings, rollouts, and major initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between supply chain execution and business priorities
Performance Management & Analytics
  • Track and report on KPIs including freight cost, OTIF performance, supplier performance, and cost savings
  • Leverage data and reporting tools to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain data accuracy across systems including SAP, Coupa, and transportation management tools
What You Bring
  • 3–7+ years of experience in global logistics, transportation, and/or category management in a high-volume environment
  • Strong experience with freight optimization, carrier management, and global shipping operations
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP (EWM or similar) and procurement tools like Coupa
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics SaaS platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting multi-site or global distribution networks
  • Experience in U.S. domestic and international logistics (including foreign-to-foreign shipping)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data/reporting tools
