1. Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst – Global Research & India Entry Lead Generation to identify foreign companies exploring India-entry, outsourcing, or shared services opportunities. The role requires global market research, industry intelligence, and structured lead generation to support strategic business development initiatives.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Research & Market Intelligence
- Identify foreign SMEs and mid-market companies with no operational presence in India.
- Track global expansion indicators such as:
- Funding announcements
- International hiring patterns
- Trade delegations & cross-border partnerships
- Sector-specific reports and industry news
- Evaluate outsourcing readiness and India-entry potential through structured research frameworks.
B. Lead Generation & Company Profiling
- Build high-quality lead lists with details such as:
- Company size, geography, industry
- CXO-level decision makers (CEO, COO, CFO, CHRO, Global Operations, Shared Services Head)
- Qualification relevance score
- Conduct deep profiling of companies to assess fit for India-entry or outsourcing.
C. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Prepare weekly intelligence briefs summarizing market trends and potential opportunities.
- Maintain CRM-ready databases of qualified prospects.
- Support the Business Development team with company insights, profiles, and opportunity assessments.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong research capability with structured analytical reasoning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, Excel, Google Sheets, and global research tools (ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, SimilarWeb).
- Ability to interpret global business signals to identify India-entry or outsourcing opportunities.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and systematic working style.
4. Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Strategy, International Business, Analytics, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- Research & consulting
- Strategy or market intelligence
- Business development support
- International business analysis
5. Performance Indicators
- Number of qualified India-entry leads generated monthly.
- Accuracy of company profiling and CXO identification.
- Quality, structure, and depth of weekly reports.
- Impact on BD pipeline, conversions, and opportunity creation.
