Global Product Lead, Search Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with clients on technical products (e.g. pitching solutions, consulting, project management, implementation, demonstrating products, or technical sales).
  • Experience managing complex projects with stakeholders across multiple functions, with effective project management skills.
  • Ability to structure a compelling story-line and build presentation decks/documents to support their position.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both practitioner and executive-level.

About the job

The Product and Sales Activation (PSA) team is responsible for product strategy and GTM activation for performance solutions for Small to Medium Business (SMB) advertisers around the world from large mid-market companies to local shops served by the GCS Business. We identify opportunities through analysis, build consensus with stakeholders, and program manage cross-functional teams to drive GCS advertiser success and business growth.

Within the Global PSA Performance team, the Search team's mission is to shape, simplify and scale Google’s AI-first solutions (e.g., AI Max), empowering promoters to maximize value for our GCS customers.

Our mission in Product and Sales Activation (PSA) is to fuel Google Customer Solutions (GCS) advertiser growth by enabling our SMB customers to achieve the most with our products today and shaping our products for tomorrow.

As a Global Product Lead, you will use your Search Ads and Ads Performance knowledge, experience and ability to influence/build relationships to develop GTM strategies, product strategy POVs, and activation tactics for defining and landing our Search Ads GTM. You’ll partner with Product, Marketing, Strategy and Operations, and Sales teams to activate our Search GTM strategy to support a Search Ads business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Search Ads subject matter expert to lead GTM education initiatives and partner with product counterparts to influence the long-term product roadmap.
  • Build an internal network across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Data Science teams to deliver on complex, multi-disciplinary work-streams.
  • Structure data and apply advanced techniques to synthesize findings into clear, strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Design, develop, and automate efficient business processes and analytics tools to provide insights at scale and drive program management.
  • Develop and deliver high-level content for stakeholders across multiple organizations, both internally at Google and with external partners.
