Job Title: Product Manager – Urology

Position Summary:
The Product Manager – Urology will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of urology-related medical devices from strategic planning to execution. This role requires a deep understanding of the urology segment, competitor landscape, clinical environment, and customer needs. The incumbent will collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product positioning, development, launch, and performance in the market.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

Develop and execute strategic product plans for the urology portfolio (e.g., , stents, catheters, ureteroscopes, Holmium laser, TFL etc.).

Define product roadmap based on market trends, voice of customer (VOC), and clinical needs.

Conduct SWOT analysis and competitive benchmarking for product portfolio decisions.

New Product Development & Launch:

Work closely with R&D and clinical teams to guide new product development.

Lead product launch planning including KOL engagement, training, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and promotional materials.

Define product claims and collaborate with regulatory teams for submissions and approvals.

Marketing & Business Development:

Design and implement marketing campaigns, CME activities, workshops, and events to build brand awareness.

Develop sales tools, presentations, and clinical data sheets for field use.

Collaborate with regional sales teams to drive revenue, improve product uptake, and achieve sales targets.

Market Intelligence:

Gather insights from the field regarding customer needs, product performance, and competitor activity.

Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in urology and endourology segments.

Training & Support:

Provide product and clinical training to internal sales teams, distributors, and healthcare professionals.

Address field inquiries and resolve product-related issues promptly.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred.

5–10 years of experience in the medical device OR Pharma industry, Preferred from Urology or Gastro and Laparoscopic background

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.

Willingness to travel (30–50%) domestically.
