Global Sourcing Manager - Electronics Components
An industry leading Electronics Manufacturer is seeking an experienced sourcing leader to drive global procurement strategies for electronic components and assemblies, including wire harnesses and PCBA, while leading a dynamic team of Sourcing Managers. This role requires strong leadership skills and deep expertise in supplier management, negotiations and sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration within complex manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a global sourcing team, setting clear objectives, coaching for success, and driving accountability across all activities.

Shape and execute category strategies for electronic components and assemblies (including wire harnesses, PCBA, connectors), ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics.

Establish strong supplier partnerships, negotiating agreements that deliver cost competitiveness, quality, and long-term value.

Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives, maintaining a robust pipeline of savings projects and monitoring performance against targets.

Oversee supplier performance management, including evaluations, improvement plans, and regular business reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams to integrate sourcing decisions into product development and production planning.

Implement risk management strategies, proactively identifying potential disruptions and developing mitigation plans.

Leverage market intelligence and benchmarking to identify innovation opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.

Ensure governance and reporting discipline, including contract approvals, project tracking, and accurate cost analysis for assigned categories.
Qualifications:

10+ years of global electronics sourcing experience, 4+ years of team leadership experience

Expertise in electronics sourcing (wire harnesses, PCBA, connectors), ideally in a high mix/mid volume setting

Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills.

Experience working in an industrial manufacturing, ideally electrical, environment

Ability to travel up to 40%.

Bachelor's degree required, Strong Preference for MBA or professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP).
