The Global Supply Chain Business Analytics role is responsible for delivering actionable insights, data-driven recommendations, and advanced analytics to support strategic and operational decision-making across the global supply chain organization. This role will partner with cross-functional teams across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and external operations to establish a best-in-class analytics capability that drives performance, efficiency, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1.Analytics & Insights Development
- Design and develop advanced analytics models and dashboards to support forecasting, capacity planning, inventory management, and cost optimization.
- Translate complex data sets into compelling narratives, visualizations, and insights for executive decision-making.
- Drive end-to-end supply chain visibility through data integration and harmonization across systems and regions.
2. Performance Management & KPI Reporting
- Define, maintain, and evolve supply chain KPIs in collaboration with functional leads.
- Enable real-time performance tracking through digital dashboards and scorecards.
- Conduct root cause analysis on performance deviations and support corrective action planning
3. Decision Support & Scenario Modeling
- Support strategic initiatives with quantitative models (e.g., network optimization, make-vs-buy, working capital optimization).
- Build simulation tools and what-if analysis to evaluate the impact of supply chain decisions under various scenarios.
- Provide data-based inputs for executive reviews, business planning, and transformation programs.
4. Data Governance & Tools Enablement
- Partner with IT and Digital teams to enhance data quality, architecture, and analytics tools.
- Support the deployment of advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Python-based models).
- Serve as a business owner for analytics capability building and digital transformation.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to global and regional supply chain leaders.
- Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, and Digital teams to align analytics with enterprise goals.
- Drive a data-driven culture across the supply chain organization through training, coaching, and best practice sharing.

- End-to-End Global Network Transformation & Optimization: Proven expertise in designing and leading the transformation of fully integrated global networks, encompassing manufacturing, quality, supply chain, digital, and B2B operations. Adept at driving network optimization through data-driven decision-making, advanced digital technologies, and strategic partnerships. Skilled in fostering a transformation mindset, enhancing agility, and aligning regional and global operations to improve efficiency, resilience, and business performance.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence senior leadership.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations research, or business intelligence, preferably in a global or matrix organization.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, and ERP/SAP systems.
- Proven experience in applying analytics to solve real-world supply chain problems.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or FMCG industry.
- Exposure to S&OP, demand planning, procurement analytics, or external manufacturing operations.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or training in statistical modeling / machine learning is a plus.
