We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our organization as Global Trade Analyst (Remote). In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with regulations and maintaining the highest standards of ethical business practices. As our import volume grows rapidly, we require a candidate who has a deep understanding of import compliance regulations and can navigate complex global supply chains.
Description:
The Global Trade Analyst will:

Determine the correct classification for imported goods by researching and interpreting the HTSUS schedules, customs rulings, General Rules of Interpretation (GRI), Explanatory Notes (EN), and trade agreements.

Maintain Clark’s Product Classification Database (PCD)

Support and guide cross functional teams on import compliance matters, including but not limited to, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), INCOTERMS, valuation, and country of origin/marking and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) requirements.
- Conduct Denied/Restricted Party Screening of new vendors and or all other parties associated with Clark’s imports.

Perform post entry summary audits to ensure data and document accuracy and initiate entry corrections e.g., Post-Summary Correction (PSC), Protests, and Prior Disclosure filings as needed.

Contribute to maintaining SOPs and work instructions.

Design and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into compliance metrics, duty exposure, and operational performance.

Streamline workflows and implement systemic solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across global trade operations.

Liaise with customs brokers and cross-functional teams to streamline Clark's import compliance program.

Assist in developing and conducting internal stakeholders’ training on Import Compliance regulations.

Provide subject matter expertise and training to internal stakeholders on data-driven compliance

Perform other duties and projects as assigned, in support of import, product and legal teams.

Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.

Access to a home router and modem.

A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).

A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.

The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Minimum 3 years of experience in import and customs compliance roles

Strong understanding of US Customs regulations, import procedures, HTSUS, and PGA requirements.

Experience using the ACE database.

Advanced data analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to extract, transform, and interpret large datasets for compliance monitoring and decision-making

Proven proficiency in analytical and automation tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and related reporting platforms to build dashboards, streamline workflows, and support compliance oversight

Ability to design and implement systemic solutions that enhance visibility, accuracy, and efficiency across global trade operations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word)

Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist preferred but not required.

Willingness to travel up to 5% per year.
