Job Summary
BoCHE Apparels is looking for an experienced and dynamic GM – Sales to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a strong distribution network. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of the apparel industry, strong leadership skills, and experience handling large sales teams across regions.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to optimise sales planning.
- Identify new opportunities, channels, and territories for business expansion.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage regional and area sales teams.
- Set clear sales KPIs and ensure performance is tracked and achieved.
- Conduct regular reviews, training, and skill development programs.
Channel & Distribution Management
- Build and maintain strong distribution and retail networks.
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and modern trade partners.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and market penetration in all assigned markets.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
- Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and marketing teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing norms, and credit control processes.
Market Development
- Lead initiatives for new product launches and promotions.
- Conduct market visits regularly to understand customer behaviour and ensure strong retail execution.
- Gather feedback to support product development and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in apparel/fashion/garments industry.
- Proven track record in handling state or national-level sales.
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in growing apparel brands from early stages.
- Strong distributor and retailer network.
