IT Operations Administrator–Analyst Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

As an IT Operations Administrator in the IT Operations team, you will effectively monitor and manage the availability and performance of IT infrastructure and resources, such as server, network, storage and application resources. This is done by executing pre-planned tasks based on instructions.
To ensure that we in the IT Operations Center always have sufficient views of the systems and can act in the event of malfunctions, you will support us in the constant exchange with other IT teams, the creation of documents and reports.

Work you’ll do
  • Monitor IT infrastructure and applications regarding availability, capacity and performance based on instructions from the system owners. (Azure Cloud and On premises)
  • Ensure sufficient views of the systems are available. Immediate information of the system owners and other IT teams in the event of unavailability of a system.
  • Automate the task of System checks. Knowledge of scripting will be helpful.
  • Support in the constant exchange with other IT teams, the creation of documentation and the continuous improvement of our processes.
  • Creation of suitable monitoring views and reports for different user groups. Reporting and management of Dashboard.
  • Compliance with internal agreements defined in Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Perform the daily monitoring checklist steps to ensure that daily monitoring tasks are completed.
  • In the event of alarms or status messages, initiate defined remedial actions to minimize the impact of service incidents and system events.
  • Basic Analytics on the system issues, identifying the cause and taking corrective action.
  • If the corrective measures do not work, contact the system owners with the aim of eliminating the malfunctions as quickly as possible and restoring service.
  • Support of migration projects and introduction of new systems to ensure IT operations integration.
  • Scripting in various environments (PROD, STAGE, etc.).

Work Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM


About the Team:

In the IT Operations Centre, we monitor the IT infrastructure systems and services of Deloitte DE. We use various monitoring tools to cover the levels of cloud, data centre, LAN, WAN, servers and storage systems through to applications in end-end monitoring.


Qualifications:


  • Postgraduate with completed studies in IT, Business Informatics or something similar or a completed apprenticeship with relevant practical experiences.
  • Exposure to IT industry would be helpful.
  • Years of experience 2- 4 years of experience

Primary Skills

  • Technology knowledge in the areas of virtualization, networking and storage, Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Technical understanding of complex IT landscapes and infrastructures (on-premise and cloud).
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Confident in using monitoring tools
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication is required
