As the Go-To-Market Launcher / Country Launcher, you will be responsible for launching and scaling a live shopping platform in GCC that combines live streams and real-time auctions under one application. This role combines general management, growth, operations, and partnerships, with full ownership of building a live, functioning marketplace.
You will be accountable for activating supply, onboarding and growing sellers, driving livestream activity, and ensuring strong execution on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and is motivated by ownership and impact rather than structure.
Main Responsibilities
- Launch and build a new country or category from zero to momentum
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new sellers and suppliers (online and on the ground)
- Spot market trends early and translate them into live-selling opportunities
- Support sellers in audience growth through co-marketing and collaboration
- Identify rising sellers early and integrate them into the ecosystem
- Pair sellers and suppliers to create compelling live shows
- Collaborate with internal growth and content teams to amplify key livestreams
- Oversee live operations including equipment, setup, and on-site readiness
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience during and after live events
- Conduct post-live reviews, gather feedback, and implement improvements
Requirements:- Proven experience in marketplace operations, live commerce, e-commerce, growth, or category/market launches
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to build and scale initiatives from zero in fast-paced environments
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, particularly with sellers or partners
- Highly action-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable making decisions with limited structure
- Willingness to travel and be hands-on in the market as required
