Gold Buyer / Regional Manager

Job Overview
We are launching a gold buying business in Austin, TX, hosting scheduled gold-buying meetings in our office, partner locations and receiving online deliveries.

We are looking for our first Gold Buyer in the area to run client meetings, evaluate precious metals, and build trust with customers. High performing candidate will be offered to take over full regional operations as we scale.

This is a high-responsibility, high-upside role for someone with real-world experience in gold buying, pawn, or jewelry environments — and who is comfortable using digital tools.

Role will be part-time to begin with and after 4 weeks in the job transforming into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and purchase: gold jewelry, precious metal items
• Accurately test purity and weight
• Use digital systems: booking calendar, customer verification, transaction records and compliance reporting
• Support ensuring full compliance with Texas and federal requirements

Skills

• Experience in at least one of the following: pawn shop / jewelry buying / precious metals dealing
• Hands-on experience evaluating gold
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Comfortable handling cash and valuables
• Digitally native
• Based in Austin area or willing to relocate

Highly competitive base + aggressive commission

• Base pay: $3,000–$5,000 / month (depending on experience)
• Commission: % based on sales generated
• Top performers earn $10,000+ / month
