Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Restaurant Server—Part Time” for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Familiarity with all menu items, menu prices and hours of operation & promotions
• Maintain a clean work area, professional appearance, and present positive customer service techniques
• Ensures consistency & quality
• Provide service to guests while dining
• Assist Busser in pre-bussing of tables
• Set up or close of wait station
• Clean stations and tables
• Complete daily side work
• Assist guests with questions regarding activities on the property
• Practice TIPS awareness and the responsible serving of alcohol

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Strong communications skills
• Liquor card required
• Basic computer knowledge and cash handling skills
• Knowledge of Infogenesis & Patron systems helpful
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
• Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board
