The Goldsmith is responsible for crafting, repairing, and finishing gold and diamond jewelry with high precision and attention to detail. The role requires expert skills in metalwork, gemstone handling, and jewelry production while maintaining quality standards, design specifications, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Jewelry Manufacturing & Craftsmanship

  • Manufacture gold and diamond jewelry according to designs, sketches, or CAD models.
  • Perform casting, soldering, shaping, filing, polishing, and finishing of jewelry pieces.
  • Set diamonds and gemstones securely and accurately.
  • Resize, repair, and refurbish gold and diamond jewelry.

Quality Control

  • Ensure all jewelry meets quality, weight, purity, and finishing standards.
  • Inspect pieces for defects, proper stone setting, and overall craftsmanship.
  • Minimize gold loss and ensure accurate metal usage.

Tools & Equipment Handling

  • Operate and maintain jewelry-making tools and machinery.
  • Use hand tools, casting equipment, polishing machines, and setting tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Material Handling & Security

  • Handle gold, diamonds, and gemstones with care and integrity.
  • Follow company procedures for inventory control and material accountability.
  • Report any discrepancies or damage immediately.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work closely with designers, supervisors, and quality control teams.
  • Follow industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet production timelines and workshop schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Goldsmith in the gold and diamond industry.
  • Candidates must be Locally Available
  • Valid NOC and Visa Transfer required
  • Strong knowledge of gold alloys, diamond grading, and gemstone setting.
  • Skilled in traditional and modern jewelry-making techniques.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and design specifications.
  • Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
