Goldstrike - Surface Predictive Maintenance (PdM - Oil Lab) Technician

We are looking for a Surface Predictive Maintenance Technician at our Goldstrike operations. The successful candidate will analyze oil samples for Carlin surface, underground, and process operations. They will also monitor mobile equipment health.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Carlin Open Pit Reliability Engineer, the Predictive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:

• Analyze oil samples, provide recommendations based on findings, and record and report results
• Collect and analyze data on critical mobile equipment using predictive maintenance technologies, including but not limited to vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared, and ultrasonic
• Create and maintain databases for each technology
• Generate and distribute condition and follow up reports to all levels of management
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proven safety record required
• Excellent attendance record required
• Previous training and experience with application of predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred
• Five (5) years mobile maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of mobile equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required
• Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, Along with SAP required
• Ability to schedule and prioritize workload required
• Demonstrate ability to perform the essential function of the job required
