Golf Cart Technician

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Golf Cart Technician to join our EV aftersales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electric golf carts and related equipment, ensuring safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electric golf carts (battery systems, electrical wiring, motors, controllers, chargers) and small related vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and possibly hydraulic faults; troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.
• Replace or repair faulty parts: motors, brakes, steering systems, suspension, tires, lighting, etc.
• Ensure batteries are maintained properly: charging, fluid levels (if applicable), capacity checks, and safety.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workshop and workstations.
• Keep accurate service, maintenance, and repair records.
• Coordinate with parts and procurement teams to ensure parts availability.
• Provide input on spare parts inventory for golf carts; suggest improvements.
• Assist customers with technical inquiries when required.
• Stay up-to-date with EV technologies relevant to golf carts and small-electric vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience servicing golf carts, electric vehicles, or similar equipment; prior EV experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of electric motor systems, battery technology, controllers, wiring, and general small vehicle mechanical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, multimeters, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, safety mindset.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
